Do I need a sterile environment for a Pinch appointment?
Pinch Providers can treat you safely in the comfort of your own home. You do NOT need a sterile environment and it is in fact a common misconception that medical offices, where there is lots of patient turnover, are inherently more sterile than home settings. Pinch Providers follow strict setup protocols to ensure a safe and sterile environment, including:
- Cleaning all treatment surfaces with Caviwipe-soaked sterile gauze
- Sterilizing the client’s skin with 70% isopropyl alcohol prior to treatment
- Using single-use, sealed medical-grade supplies
- Conducting pre-treatment space assessments to ensure cleanliness and safety
These measures align with best practices in mobile healthcare, such as in-home blood draws, concierge medical visits, and outpatient procedures.
